I don’t need you to hate me

I’ve been doing enough of that lately

Just pray for my soul (x2)

Father forgive’em, for they

Know not what they do or say

If Your favoring on my labor

It may as well fade away

& they say that they the Church but they done curse me

They desert me, man it hurts me

I pray for mercy, seems like it made it worse

Say I’m thirsty, they serve me dirt

& say I do Satan’s work

I still love them through the suffering

You’re the One they hated first

You were blameless

They called You every single name in the book

You show me how to withstand it through all the pain that You took

& they say I don’t know You.

But they don’t know the dirt that I came from.

They don’t see the pain that i go through.

Two different worlds but we circle the same Son.

LORD I’m gonna need Your touch to keep my heart open wide

Can only take it so much;

I’m so scared up inside

Can’t get caught up in pride

I don’t know why.

don’t deserve.

Anything but to die.

but You gave me Your Word.

They just wait 'till I’m hurt

Then they move into kill

They don’t care for me

But they swear that they’re doing Your will!

& they say I don’t know you.

But they don’t know the dirt that I come from.(they don’t know)

They don’t see the pain that i go through.(they can’t see)

«If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you?

For even sinners

love those who love them.

And if you do good to those who do good to you,

what benefit is that to you?

For even sinners do the same.

And if you lend to

those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you?

Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount.

But love your

enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward

will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the

ungrateful and the evil.

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful

condemn not, and you will not be

condemned;

forgive, and you will be forgiven;

give, and it will be given to you.

Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into

your lap.

For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.
