make no change, except for their pockets

they really dont care, and we dont either

we’d rather just chill, watch them decieve us

trust in God, thats what they teach us

to idolize leaders, ballers, preachers

and dont ask questions or else they’ll kill

watch them loot, they rob, they steal

all the resources under our nose

cant blame 'em its the position we chose

we stay subdued, modern day slaves

living like s#!

t in these modern day caves

we must say no, thats the solution

its been about 50yrs of this struggle

its been a long time we’ve been on this hustle

its almost as if say we no wan grow

people dey lead us just to get dough

cos if light no dey generator must sell

and if you get gen you must buy fuel

and to buy fuel no be small matter

without borehole you no fit get clean water

so poor man suppose to do business?

how small child suppose to fight sickness?

if for hospital, drugs no dey

and if you get wound, you must first pay

now our education don dey fall short

all skilled workers just wan comot

this kind system e no sustainable

it is not sustainable

for all the basic amenities my people dey find

our children dey die, our wives dey cry

and its all due to the corruption

we must say no, no to all bad politicians

no, no to bad government officials

no, no to all man wey suppose dey work, we dey thief money

healthcare is so bad, mortality rate is too high

good road e no dey, for road my people dey too die

clean water to drink, good house to sleep

electricity and security

my brother all these things na basic amenity

na basic amenity.
