With some people, they’re of no importance

Startled for a while, looking up at you

Then she gives a blinding smile

That somehow strikes you harder than a fist or bullet ever could

So the game is on, counter with a laugh

Ask her ifshe’d possibly consider having but a single dance

With someone obviously harmless and endearing and as humble as yourself

It is something of a mystery

How you have found your place in history

Total obscurity in plain view

And nobody knows it Keep your senses sharp, never hesitate

Trusting is a luxury you can’t afford

And if you faulter it might be the end of you

Never get to close, cover up your tracks

Time is of the essence, you don’t have to be reminded

Of the people who depend on you

Muster up a smile, tell a little joke

Make up some distraction when the time is right

And when you see an opening you make your move

Slipping through the crowd, nice and easy now
