I can’t seem to think straight

I realize out of any obstacle I face

It’s always me in my own way

I try to close my eyes

To dream of better days

Hoping old memories

But on the inside

It’s covered in rain

I am cold

Feels like I’ve grown out of touch

With any positive emotion left in nostalgia

Why does being awake hurt so much
