It’s just an average day I’m thinking every thing’s okay

I’m walking down the street just trying to pass my day away

And all of a sudden I turn my head and now I hear a crash

A car is flying towards me and plus it’s coming fast

I’m moving quickly as it crashed into the side of the street

I looked inside but now there’s no one in the driver’s seat

And all around me it’s only chaos that I can see

These people running and screaming but it makes no sense to me Now what happened I look up and see a plane just crashing

Into the side of a building up in smoke and flames blasting

When suddenly it hit me so clearly just the reality

That the Son of God came back but didn’t come back for me Chorus

I was that part time Bible reader slash part time church leader

Giving God part time I’m a part time believer

You’d seen me on the front pew just by the speaker

Falling asleep on Sunday morning

Just while I’m listening now to the preacher

Had everybody fooled including me The fools included me but really now the only fool was truly me See I truly be wishing I could change the way I was living

While others we’re seeking after God I was seeking after religion

I’m trying to call my friends but they keep on coming up missing

I’m getting stressed cause there’s one thing that I was wishing

That I would’ve done more with the truth of the words that I was given

Why did I waste that time why didn’t I just listen
