Remember when we’d lie together in the moonlight?

Painting the canvas-sky with visions of our new life

But I’m afraid it was in vain

You’ve gone away

And without you every sunset looks the same

Those stars have lost their meaning

What about the times you said

You’d stay and fight for what’s ahead?

And through each other we would mend

Together we’d embrace the end

How will I find my way back from the dream

You pulled me into like the summer breeze?

We made up all the brightest colors of the afternoon

Casting our shadows like facades on the walls of my room

I sowed myself right into you

Just as the autumn flowers bloomed

What about the times you said

You’d stay and fight for what’s ahead?

And when I was robbed of joy

You were there to block the noise
