I found it kind of humourless

Our fallout months ago

I knew you way to well too fast

And it’s taking its toll on me

You thought I was an angel

Seemed that I perceived you as the same

I saw myself within you

Within me you found some way to place your faith

I was noble like a knight

I was lucent like a light

I was taller than a tower when I stayed within your sight

I was taller than a tower in your sights

So now I’m not afraid of heights

Was never my intention to

Grow overly attached

Of you, I’m unsure of what I was once supposed to do

When they allay to feel like that

Will I ever understand why

You saw me as an angel?

I sold the whole damn world to a saint
