Sometimes I sit in awe of places I have been:

Manchu Picchu, Buenos Aires, Mexico

In a few short years, my life has changed so drastically

Adventures for my soul pinned in your love story, oh

Your love shines through the smiles of your people

Who find hope in the midst of hunger and war

How mistaken I have been thinking I’m the blessing

When they’ve taught me more than I could ever know

And how can I fall back into my Comfort Zone

When the terrors stop me from loving my neighbor

Because it scares or is inconvenient for me

All I know is that I worship the Savior

Born from two middle eastern refugees

And how can I fall back into my Comfort Zone

Who cares about degrees if my brothers are in need?

Accolades will fade, along with all the fame

What if I when the world, and while my back is turned I find

I lost my heart and then my very soul?

I long to hear one thing: To stand before my King

He’ll say, «Well done, my good and faithful servant.»
