As I sit here on my bed

Thinking about the things we’ve said

I can’t imagine what went wrong

with our direction

How we made it through the years

God knows we’ve shed some tears

But we also had some good times in the meantime

Might be hard but I gotta move on with my life

Can’t keep looking back at the misery & strife

I do the best I can but my heart still needs to grieve

Yesterday we played a game

Nothing lost and nothing gained

How could we let our emotions rule our heart

Thinking about the mistakes we made

Honey we almost paved the grave
